Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port and Convention Center has completed a renovation of its guestrooms, meeting space and public areas.
The property—which is owned and operated by Kolter Hospitality, a division of Delray Beach, Fla.-based The Kolter Group—is in Fort Lauderdale’s cruise port and convention center corridor. The 126-room hotel underwent a full refresh of its guestrooms, including new carpet, paint and furnishings, along with renovated bathrooms featuring updated tile, bathtubs, showers and fixtures.
“It’s been exciting to hear the overwhelming positive reactions to this major renovation from our guests and employees,” Scott Webb, president of Kolter Hospitality, said in a statement. “This hotel is the ideal location for anyone who wants to discover all that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. It has always been paramount to us that we continuously reinvest in our properties to better our guest experiences and provide a work environment for our employees to be proud of.”
Public areas were updated with revised interior design, new carpeting and furnishings in the lobby, as well as enhancements to gathering spaces. Exterior improvements include a resurfaced pool and new deck. The fitness center was updated with additional equipment, including Peloton bikes and integrated television features.
The hotel offers meeting space totaling approximately 1,000 square feet. Food and beverage options include a breakfast service, a 24-hour market and a bar and dining venue serving casual fare and beverages. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
