Kolter Reaches Another Construction Milestone at 5000 North Ocean

For those residents who left Singer Island at the end of the season with 5000 North Ocean beginning to rise above the shoreline, they will be quite surprised upon their return to Florida this year. Kolter is proud to announce the early top-out of this 19-story oceanfront tower on the private north end of Singer Island. An accomplishment that won’t go unrecognized as the building takes its place in the oceanfront skyline.

“Thanks to a summer of good weather and the efforts of our construction team, we’re ahead of schedule at 5000 North Ocean,” said John Grimaldi, Kolter Urban’s project manager. It’s great news, but it also means our residents have to move quickly to make their final selections for the interior of their residences.”

When a new high-rise is progressing so quickly, there are key milestones we use to gauge our progress:

TOPPING OUT

An industry term that means ‘to finish the construction of the top floor’. Kolter Urban celebrated this event in September, raising the traditional tree and American flag to the top of the building to recognize this accomplishment. It’s an especially important step in the building of a residential tower, as it signifies that the vertical construction of the project is complete. Now we’re able to move onto creating a magnificent address, from the inside out.

INTERIOR SELECTIONS

After a homebuyer selects their residence of choice, it’s time to work with the Kolter Design Gallery to select the interior fixtures and finishes that make it their own. These selections include in everything from the premium flooring to the kitchen selections, along with the countertops and bathroom fixtures. Beginning with the lower levels, the construction team will be installing these individual design choices. That means, time if quickly running out for homebuyers who want to make these selections personally. As each floor is scheduled for interior finish out, the developer makes the selections for unsold residences. Although the building won’t be finished until next fall, now is the time to make your move.

MOVE-IN DAY

Come Fall 2019, 5000 North Ocean will be going through its final punch out, preparing for resident Move-In Day. That makes this the last Winter homeowners will have to make due with small balconies, lower ceilings, and outdated design in their oceanfront condo. It’s okay to take some time to imagine what the first thing that you’ll do when you step into your new oceanfront home. We recommend taking a panoramic shot of the Atlantic Ocean – your new backyard.

For a preview of the future, homebuyers are encouraged to visit the on-site Sales Gallery, which is open daily. An architectural scale model and full-size designer kitchen are available to provide an in-depth look at the community’s plans.

5000 North Ocean will be home to only 48 exclusive residences. This gated oceanfront community has been thoughtfully planned to take full advantage of the 4.5-acre development site and its 341 ft. of direct Palm Beach oceanfront.

Residents will enjoy a wide array of resort-style on-site amenities in a very private natural setting. Amenities include a one-of-a-kind private Beach Oasis of natural gardens at the dune’s edge, an Oceanfront Pool, state-of-the art Fitness Center and a Resident Club Room. Floor plans range from 3,211 sq. ft. to 6,314 sq. ft. and offer 2 – 4 bedrooms/3 – 4.5 bathroom plans.
